Microsoft’s Project Detroit Unveiled
Microsoft has officially unveiled “Project Detroit,” Microsoft’s new concept car has been created with the intention of “inspiring developers to think about building apps and automotive technologies of the future.”
The very futuristic looking car glowing with neon blue LED’s has features that incorporates elements of Windows 8, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Kinect, Windows Azure, Bing, Ford Sync and more!
Based on and built around the body of a 2012 Ford Mustang with a 1967 fastback body the Project Detriot car is a spectacle to behold.
A Microsoft spokes person stated that “With open-source code from Project Detroit, developers can do more than just imagine the possibilities – they can start building them”.
