Helpdesk & On-site I.T. Engineer – Salary Negotiable on Experience and Skills
This role involves supporting small and medium businesses nationwide. You will be a part of a small and efficient team providing excellent levels of support to a variety of customers with a variety of network configurations and technologies.
You will require a good understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Microsoft Exchange, TCP/IP, VPN’s and 3rd Party software. You will be required to develop your skills in line with new software releases and show attention to detail in all aspects of your work. As the role involves a lot of telephone support you will need to be able to demonstrate a calm, friendly and reassuring presence to our clients.
Windows XP, Vista and 7
Windows Server 2003. 2008 and SBS 2011
Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010
Printers, Fax Machines and Photocopiers
Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010
I.P. Telephone Systems
Troubleshooting skills in 3rd Party Software
Experience with Linux would be an advantage
Ability to prioritise
