Microsoft End Support Windows XP April 2014

Microsoft are ending support for Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 on the 8th of April, 2014. This may seem a long way off but it means a big upheaval for the millions of businesses that still use windows XP in the work place.

The fact that Microsoft is ending their support for Windows XP should not come as any surprise. The operating system will be almost 15 years old by the time the official support ends. Making it one of the longest running  operating systems of all time.

Anonymous Operating System Dangerous?

Is the Anonymous Operating System really dangerous?

A massive explosion of scrutiny and rumour have emerged over the release of the new Anonymous operating system.

Because of the secretive nature of the  Anonymous group, confusion has formed over the true origin of the modified operating system.

Some skeptics believe that hackers are trying to take advtage of the Anonymous name to infect unsuspecting users with computer viruses.

The BBC have stated that the most “official” channels of the Anonymous group have distanced themselves from the operating system, claiming that it is filled with Trojans and is harmful.

The website SourceForge have also removed the software from their servers over concerns about the Anonymous operating system’s security.

Whether the operating system is truely dangerous or not is still up for debate, but it seems like the arguement is clearly leaning towards the “avoid at all costs” side for the time being.

Until more information comes to light, users are recommended to stay away from the rogue software.
